Picture: Painting in his "Studio" in Paris, 1989 Regino PRADILLO (1925-1991) was born and died in Guadalajara (Spain). He graduated in Fine Arts in 1953 in Madrid. In 1961 he received the first Medal of the “Salón de Pintura de Madrid”. From 1968 to 1990 he lived in Paris. Once more his work was highly appreciated and in 1974 he got the “Grand Palais de Paris” Gold Medal of the “Société des Artistes Français”. Since then he showed his work in several exhibitions and received numerous honours and awards mainly in Europe till his death in 1991. Member of the Spanish artists in Paris Society, 1968 Painter of apparent figurative style, Pradillo is above all a master of combining figurative and abstract thematic in his landscapes from his childhood. His “Tierras", landscape in Spanish gave him a deserved international recognition when he exhibited in UNESCO/ (Paris), Palace of Belém in Lisbon, Rudolf Collection/ (Sweden), and in several Spanish Institutions. with the Queen and the King of Spain.
